Rooms, meals and reef activities
What is the difference between a cabana and a Reef House?
Beachfront cabanas are individual island rooms with a private bathroom and shaded veranda. Reef Houses have two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a shared living area with a wet bar and sofa bed, making them an option for families or friends. Staff confirm the specific bedding and suitable guest numbers. Compare the stays and see interior photos.
Are meals included in the accommodation?
The resort’s published accommodation arrangements include three meals daily and marine park fees. Activities, bar purchases, gratuities, rental equipment and local flights should not be assumed to be included. Your itemized quotation confirms the exact arrangements. Discuss dietary needs with staff in advance.
Should I bring my own diving, snorkeling or fishing equipment?
Tell reservations what you have and what you need to rent. Tanks and weights are listed in the resort’s diving arrangements; personal gear and specialist equipment need separate confirmation. Fishing equipment is limited, so discuss your preferred tackle before travel. Read the island packing guide.
Will we see dolphins or other particular marine animals?
Glover’s Reef is a living marine environment, not a controlled wildlife attraction. Sightings vary with location, conditions and animal behavior. Ask about suitable guided outings, but do not plan on a guaranteed encounter. Learn how to observe the reef responsibly.
Are sailing and research facilities available to book?
Sailing and a dedicated marine laboratory are future development plans, not confirmed operating services. Staff can discuss the reef experiences and group arrangements currently available for your dates.
